Elia 1968 Cave Houses

Welcome to Elia 1968 Cave Houses, in the village of Finikia, on the beautiful island of Santorini. A family-owned business, based on a building whose existence and history go back many years, but that has also recently been renovated and thus is already completing two years of successful running.

Its name comes from the unique olive tree in the middle of the lush, green garden which is also what inspired the idea for it, while the second part, the number 1968, is the birthday number of the owner, Mrs. Katerina Plati. She herself, as a resident of the island and having a great love for her homeland, considers the fact that she has the opportunity to work in it a blessing, by turning her parental house into an accommodation facility.

In fact, she is always there, 24 hours a day to greet the customers in person, with a smile and a beautiful basket full of water, juices, croissants, toasts and jams for the sweetest welcome! She is always available for whatever the guests may need, since she can arrange excursions or help with trips around the island.

The goal, through the Elia 1968 Cave Houses, was to create a beautiful choice for all those who, by visiting Santorini, wish to get to know the islands’ rare beauty, through a more traditional and authentic prism. Don’t miss the opportunity to live a unique, different from the usual, experience!
